It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Josephine Dougherty of Plainville, Connecticut, born in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 12, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Syryca and Mary Syryca; her siblings, John and Frances (Joseph Dougherty); and her sons, Kevin and John.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Dougherty (Michelle) of Girardville, PA, Claire O'Connell of Clearwater, FLA, Joseph Dougherty (Susan) of Glastonbury, CT, Francis Dougherty of Cromwell, CT and Robert Dougherty (Diane) of Plainville, CT; her grandchildren, Kevin Dougherty, Bill, Shawn, Ryan Corrigan, Michael, Collin Dougherty, Christopher, Bethann Dougherty, Eric and Kyle Dougherty; and her great grandchildren, Timothy, Lilly, Ava and Keira.
Family and friends attending are required to wear face coverings, maintain social distancing, and follow all guidelines from the CDC.
