It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Albert Mercier (Plainville, Connecticut), born in Middletown, Connecticut, who passed away on January 7, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his son Michael Thomas Stiefel (Gilda); his significant other Linda Mercier (Sholes); his sisters, Barbara Carlson and Anna Huey; his sisters-in-law, Bette Adams, Mickey Taylor (Edward) and Carol Ann Collins; and his grandsons, Michael Anthony and Alexander Thomas Stiefel (Mia). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
