He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas James and Hazel Cassidy (Conlon); and his siblings, Robert Cassidy, Betty Boyels, Ann Parkinson, Leo Cassidy and William Cassidy.
He is survived by: his wife Marie D. Cassidy (Shea); his children, John "Jack" Cassidy Jr. (Doreen), Lynn Cassidy, William Cassidy (Bridget) and James Cassidy (Cindy); his grandchildren, Autumn, Shea, Kayla, Matthew, Paul, Mitchell, Colin, Briana and Connor; his great grandchildren, Liam and Brooke; and his brother Donald Cassidy (Lillian).
