Gilbert Demarest Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert Demarest (Plainville, Connecticut), who passed away on May 1, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Demarest and Elma Hart Demarest; his wife Janice Mae Gustafson Demarest; and his siblings, Roland, Milton, Donald and Phoebe Joachim.
He is survived by: his sons, Stephen (Maria) of Portland, CT, James (Karen) of Mishawaka, IN and Edward (Alison) of Avon, CT; his grandchildren, Dr. Kenneth Demarest, Kim Tourjee and Mindy Provenzano (Jerome); his great grandchildren, Kyle and Erik Demarest; and his sister Nancy Dellert. He is also survived by seven step grandchildren, and one step great grandchild.
