It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerard Martin of Plainville, Connecticut, who passed away on June 28, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Martin and Rose Martin (Ouellette); his grandson Joseph Martin Walsh; and his siblings, Fernand, Richard, Norman Martin, Therese Cyr, Carmen Ouellette and Claire Pelletier.

He is survived by: his children, Alan Martin of Plainville and Deborah Walsh; his son-in-law Joseph of Guilford; his former wife Laura Martin of Southington; his grandchildren, Christopher Martin of Canton, CT., Caroline Walsh and Sarah Walsh of Guilford, CT.; his siblings, Armand Martin and Fernande Dube of Madawaska, ME.; his significant other Janet Judd of Southington; and his friend Bill W..
