He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Champagne and Mabel Champagne (Perigny); and his daughter Melissa Champagne. He is survived by: his children, Laurie Stawarski (Tom) of New Britain and Brian Champagne of Plainville; his granddaughters, Christine and Emily; his great grandchild James; his siblings, Elaine Champagne, Doretta Champagne and Donald Champagne; and his former wife Marilyn Champagne. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 8:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the O'Brien Funeral Home (24 Lincoln Ave, Bristol, CT 06010). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Matthew Church (120 Church Ave, Bristol, CT 06010).
