She was predeceased by: her parents, Avelino Gomes, Sr. and Cape Verde; her siblings, Helen Roby of New Britain, CT, Arthur Gomes of Sacramento, CA and Geraldine Gonsalves of Middleboro, MA; and her former husband John J. Rodriguez, Sr. (Sonny).
She is survived by: her child Celia; her significant other Richard; her husband Jon Reininga of Maplewood, NJ; her grandchildren, Nicole Fenix (Rodriguez), Joshua Rodriguez, Ashley Hutson, Jeremy Crispino, Jessica Crispino, Erin Reininga, Tyler Reininga and Emma Reininga; and her great grandchild Orianna Fenix. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
