With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anna Rita Cameron Newell of Plainville, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on December 29, 2020 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard E. Newell; her parents, Joseph Dinnis Cameron and Bridget Cameron (Doherty); her grandson Timothy Griffith; her son-in-law Daniel Griffith; her siblings, Joseph Leonard Cameron, David Andrew Cameron and Mary Teresa Maynard; and her brother-in-law Ronald Maynard.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly Anne Griffith (Bill Cole) of Bristol, Richard D. Newell (Lillian) of Windsor, Roger A. Newell of Plainville and Kory E. Martin (Philip) of Storrs; her siblings, Gary Cameron (Susan) of Southington, Michael Cameron (Mary Lynn) of Boulder, CO and Cathy Day (Donald) of Avon; her sister-in-law Beverly Cameron of Lakewood, CO; and her grandson Robert Martin of Storrs. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
