He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Stephen and Herbert Brine Sr. Stephen; and his siblings, Audrey Brine and Herbert Brine Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Deborah J. Brine; his son Christopher (Jessa); his grandsons, Gannon and Fenton; and his brother Gary Brine (Penny).

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - 501 St. Jude's Place Memphis, TN 38105.
