With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Arthur LaCharite (Plainfield, Connecticut), born in Putnam, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 19, 2025 at the age of 71. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Richard Arthur may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur LaCharite and Lucille Chabot LaCharite; and his niece Lindsay Jean LaCharite. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Donato; and his siblings, Roger (Ednora Linares), Roland (Lyn Comtois LaCharite) and Renee (Wayne Williams).
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Dougherty Brothers Funeral Home (595 Norwich Rd, Plainfield, CT 06374). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
