It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis A. Remillard of Plainfield, Connecticut, who passed away on December 5, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Maurice Remillard, Sr.; and her parents, Roland Girard and Anita Girard (Berthiume). She is survived by: her children, Maurice Remillard, Jr. (Lisa), Lisa Kovacs and Rachel Bamber; her grandchildren, Alan (Sarah), Michael, Matthew and Michelle; her great grandchild Sylvia; and her siblings, Claire Coombs and Roland Girard (Lynn). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dougherty Brothers Funeral Home (595 Norwich Rd, Plainfield, CT 06374). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Church (12 Franklin St, Danielson, CT 06239).
Memorial Donations in Phyllis's name may be made to the Hospice & Palliative Care of Northeastern Connecticut.
