Lorraine Wakely Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorraine Wakely (Plainfield, Connecticut), who passed away on February 1, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Ladd and Alice Ladd (Caron); her former husband John V. Wakely; her daughters, Mary and Paula; and her brother Richard.
She is survived by: her husband Vin; her children, Sharon Wakely Keith, Ann Wakely, Maureen LaPorte (Scott LaPorte), Kathy LaPierre, Paul Wakely (Sharon Flur Wakely) and Edward Wakely (Brenda Wakely); her brother Leonard Ladd (Lois); and her sisters-in-law, Patricia Ladd and Ann Preissner. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Masks and social distancing will be required.
Donations in Lorraine's name may be made to the Jimmy Fund or the Northeast CT Cancer Fund.
