He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Dobson, and Gloria Dobson, Sr. (Hayes). He is survived by: his siblings, Ronald L. Dobson, Jr. (Vivian), Guy H. Dobson, Corina Dobson (George) and Loretta (Mychael). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
