He is survived by: his wife Monica Mary Peterson; his sons, James Sidney Prothro, Jr. and Raymond Daniel; his sisters, Cathe Prothro Post and Sandra Prothro Fanta (Richard); his daughter-in-law James Sidney (Jimmy); his son David Prothro; his daughter-in-law Cindy Prothro; his son Raymond Prothro; his grandchildren, Jennifer Prothro Gill (Bobby), Jodie Prothro Baker (Chris), Jordan Prothro Chandler (Nathan), David Prothro, Jr. (Amanda), Patrick Prothro (Lauren), Jeremy Prothro (Rochelle), Johnathan Prothro, Jessica Prothro and Daniel Prothro; his great grandchildren, Jason Bamburg, Ana Claire, Paige Gill, Sydney Gill, Landry Baker, Jasmine, Jaylynn, Janelle Prothro, Davey, Jessie, Madison Prothro, Hudson Prothro and Chase Ann Prothro; his cousin Rhonda Kaye Florane; and his nieces and nephews, Sidney Dawson Fomby (Buddy), Michael David Fomby, Cathe Wray Kuelling Post, Christi Kuelling Lott (Glen), Cliff Brown, Troy R.
