He was predeceased by: his wife Edna Bachand (Millovitsch); his parents, Ernest Bachand and Cora Bachand (Morin); his son Joe; his daughter-in-law Lucy; and his sisters, Mary, Margaret, Arlene and Eleanor.
He is survived by: his children, Ed (Denise Bachand), Linda (Steve Knotts), Pete (Jan Bachand), Don Bachand, Dan (Gloria Bachand), Gerry (Trish Bachand) and Marianne (Jim Lane); and his sisters, Claire LaPointe and Virginia Marion. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
