Valera; her daughters, Amanda Plummer, Cassandra Homand and Dianna Johnson; her siblings, Stephen Carpenter, Laura Leyland, Daniel Carpenter and Kristy Carpenter; and her sister-in-law Tara Carpenter. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
