She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph S. Kovaleski; her parents, Myron Lukasiewski and Cecilia Lukasiewski (Gralicki); her husband Joe; and her great grandchild Olivia Blekis.
She is survived by: her daughter Patricia L. Speakman of Terryville; her grandchildren, James P. Speakman and Jennifer Blekis; and her great grandchildren, Alex, Sean, Jonathan, Adam Speakman, Joseph and Lacey Blekis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
