She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Joaquin Tavares and Blandina Das Neves DaSilva; her daughter Maria Amelia Sardo; her brother Antonio Tavares; and her sisters-in-law, Evangelina Sardo and Eulalia Tavares.
She is survived by: her daughter Rose Sardo of Pawcatuck. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
