He was predeceased by: his parents, Treffle LaPlante and Louise LaPlante; and his sister Lorraine Sunderland (Robert). He is survived by: his children, Anita Guarnieri (Joseph) of Westerly, Jaclyn Tripp (Gregory) of Westerly and Jace LaPlante of Westerly; his grandchildren, Joseph, Madelynn, Alaina, Nolan and Natalee; his sister Carol DeVoto (Robert "Rudy") of Flemington, NJ.; his close friend Vicki DeSantis; and his friend JoAnn Smith.
