He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul F. Pampel and Elizabeth Pampel of Stonington, CT.; his former wife Patricia Pampel (Christina); his siblings-in-law, Helen Pampel (DePerry), Howard E. Weston and Sharan Pampel; and his brother Richard Pampel of Tampa, FL.
He is survived by: his children, Frederick A. Pampel II of Norwich, CT, Denise Lenihan (Michael) of Stonington, CT, Lisa Stabach (Jack) of Mystic, CT, Nancy Pampel of Pawcatuck, CT and Kevin P. Pampel of Pawcatuck, CT.; his grandchildren, Renee Coon (Jared), Thomas Lenihan, Cody Arsenault and Morgan Rogoff; and his siblings, Paul F Pampel Jr. (Diana) and Rose Marie P. Weston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 funeral services will be private.
