Antonio J. DaCosta Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 9, 2025, at the age of 88, Antonio J. DaCosta of Pawcatuck, Connecticut passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Antonio J. DaCosta to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Gilda Maria DaCosta (Pimentel); his parents, Antonio and Alcina DaCosta (Travassos); and his son Rui Alexandre Costa. He is survived by: his children, Maria Madalena Martins (Emanuel) of Pawcatuck, Jose F. Costa (Leonor) of Pawcatuck, Antonio A. Costa Gilda (Sandra) of Pawcatuck, Mario J. Costa (Nelia) of Pawcatuck, Duarte M. Costa (Maria), Ruth DaCosta of Pawcatuck, Analia M. Krzyzaniak (Joseph) of New London and Marco Costa (Heather) of Waterford; and his siblings, Duarte DaCosta of Canada, Maria Docarmo, Alcina Garcia and Aida Carreiro of Canada. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Mystic Funeral Home (51 Williams Ave, Mystic, CT 06355). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Church (60 Liberty St, Pawcatuck, CT 06379).
