He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginger" Konecny (Gerak); his daughters, Diana Konecny (David Doran) of Beacon Falls and Liza Beyer (Daniel) of Prospect; his brother John Konecny (Patricia) of Shelton; and his grandchildren, Emily and Jacob. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
