He is survived by: his wife Doris; his daughters, Heidi Schnabel (Dieter) of Erie, CO and Kimberly Cooper of Orange, CT; and his grandchildren, Sabine, Alexis and Stefan Schnabel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
