He is survived by: his children, Helena, Russell Cole of Oxford Ct, Keith, Sandra Ballas of Texas, Nickolas and Cheryl Ballas of Storrs Ct; his brother Steve Ballas of Monroe; his grandchildren, Christina, Russell Cole, Brian, Stephen Ballas and Michael Ellingson; and his great grandchildren, Carley, Chase, Colt and Luke.
