It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucas James Stochmal of Oxford, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on June 19, 2023, at the age of 27, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Mardel Kuulei Stochmal; his grandparents, Maryann Pesta Stochmal, Casmir Laskowski, Maria and Spencer Mutter; and his aunts and uncles, Joyce Stochmal, Janet Stochmal, John Stochmal and Jim Laskowski.
He is survived by: his father James T. Stochmal of Oxford; his grandfather Charles P. Stochmal of Seymour; his aunts and uncles, Charles M. Stochmal of Seymour, Paul Stochmal (Karen) of Derby, Joseph Stochmal of Seymour, Robert Alston of Stratford, Charlie Laskowski (Kandi Young) of Naugatuck, Peter Laskowski (Colleen Burg) of Seymour, Marianne Heffernan (Michael) of Southbury and Nancy Chowanec (Robert) of Seymour; and his godmothers, Maria Laskowski (Karen Filippini) of Ansonia, Julianne Langerud (Steve) of Cosby, Tennessee and Lea Laskowski of Huntington Beach, California. He is also survived by his pet dog, "Nova;" many cousins and countless friends.
