He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J. Sr. Rose and Helen Greenwaldt Rose; and his son Kevin Robert Rose. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Sulima Rose; his children, Joseph Jay Rose, III of Seymour and Mary Rose of Bantam; his brother John Rose; and his grandchildren, Chelsea Schroeder (Kevin), Nolan Ernsteins and Jake Ernsteins.
Memorial donations may be made in memory of Joseph to Seymour High School, through the funeral Home.
