It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose Hernandez of Oxford, Connecticut, who passed away on February 27, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Hernandez and Maria Hernandez; and his siblings, Moncho, Hermino, Niciaso, Raymond, Mary, Eugenia and Carmita.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hernandez (Lundgren); his sons, Jose Hernandez (Kathy) of Naugatuck, Roy Hernandez (Laura) of Southbury and Roger Hernandez (Alyson) of Beacon Falls; his sisters, Marta Hernandez of Dajaos, Bayamon and Puerto Rico; his grandchildren, Jose III, Matthew, Michael, Roy C., Jessica L., Maddison N., Jordyn H., Riley M. E. and Mia N. Hernandez; and his great grandchildren, Marissa, Kristiana, Brendan, Aaliyah, Mikey, Brooke, Sierra, Kanaan and Reyna. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
