He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kamerik and Irene Van Kamerik of Niskayuna. He is survived by: his wife Bonny; his sons, Jonathan Van Kamerik (Rebecca Orsini) and Christopher Van Kamerik; his sisters, Sharon Lawrence and Linda Baquero; and his sister-in-law Gale Cirillo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the James T. Toohey & Son Funeral Home (92 Howe Ave, Shelton, CT 06484). A procession was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Will Leave the Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Good Shepherd (St. Nicholas Parish) (135 Mountain Rd, Seymour, CT 06483). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Riverside Cemetery (308 River Rd, Shelton, CT 06484).
