He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Barbara Mayers; his stepfather John Giangreco of Oxford; his sister Lisa Hyland (Robert) of Naugatuck; his nephew Ken Crowther (Ashley); his great-nephews, Louis and Joseph of Naugatuck; his great-niece Eloise; his father Jack Mayers; and his grandmothers, Sophie Muchisky and Anne Mayers. He was also cherished by many cousins and friends.
