He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lucas and Verne Lucas (Herrick). He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Culver (Richard) and JoAnna Lucas; his grandchildren, Hannah, Owen, Aurelia Culver, Auriana Lucas and Dominic Holloway; his former wife Diane Lucas; his sister Marion VanNess (Peter); his nephew Ronald Tichy (Kristin); his great-niece Scarlett Tichy; his cousins, George Gorkowski, Jr. and John Hanudel; his close friend Elizabeth Flanagan; and also Rocky.
