He was predeceased by: his spouse Ruth Redington Ring; his parent William H.; and his siblings, William and Mary Carroll Ratchford. He is survived by: his parent Rose Ring (Carroll); and his children, Thomas J. Ring (Tracy) of Bristol and Regina Potter (Frederick) of Oxford.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jack's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital through the funeral home.
