She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Kelly and Mary Kelly (O'Reilly); and her husband John. She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Downey (John Bellew), Mary Ledwidge (Michael), Eileen Barton (Timothy) and Jean Alexander (Daniel); her grandchildren, Keelan Ledwidge (Mary Lucey), Cara Lawton (David), Brynna Ledwidge, Aidan, Siobhan, Shane, Carina Barton, Emma, Hannah, Katie and Ryan Alexander; her great grandchildren, Ewan, Nora Lawton and John Ledwidge; and her siblings, Eileen Kelly, Kathleen Byrnes (Lawrence), Sheila O'Keefe (Kevin), Una Fitzpatrick (Paul) and Edward Kelly (Catherine). She is also survived by many sisters- and brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Friedriech's Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA) in Joan's name would be greatly appreciated.
