She was predeceased by: her husband James W. Laird; her parents, Albert Ames and Bertha Ames (Raugh); her great grandchildren, James W. Laird, IV and Gabriel Scinto; and her siblings, David, Albert Ames, Evelyn Dickerson and Edith Donofrio.
She is survived by: her children, James William Laird, Jr. (Susan) of Milford, Sharon Trede (Frederick, Jr.) of Southport, NC. and MaryEllen Liptak of Watertown; and her brother Roger Ames of Milford. She is also survived by grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
By request of the family, visitors that are unvaccinated are asked to wear masks.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Jeanette's memory may be made to The Immanuel Lutheran Church, Memorial Fund through the funeral home.
