He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick R. Schlitter and Estelle Madalinski Schlitter. He is survived by: his spouse Gail Anderson Schlitter; his children, Dana F. Schlitter and Kristen L. Middlemiss; his sister Paula Strode; and his grandsons, Henry, Oliver and Milo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
