Edith McKane Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith McKane (Oxford, Connecticut), born in Shelton, Connecticut, who passed away on December 1, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Myra Rollinson and William Rollinson; her siblings, Arthur Rollinson (Mary), William Rollinson (Tillie), Herbert Rollinson (Muriel), Myra Allen, Margaret Arms (Geroge) and Evelyn Wilson (Jim); and her sons, Peter McKane and Paul McKane.

She is survived by: her spouse Charlie; her children, David McKane (Linda) of Oxford and Margaret McKane (David Bates) of Framingham, MA.; her grandchildren, Kellie (Anthony), Katie, Sarah, Angela McKirryher (Brian) and Michael Ames (Lorraine); and her brother Robert "Archie" (late Dorothy). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great grand-children.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Great Hill UMC with a notation for the McKane Family Scholarship or to Oxford Special Olympics.
