He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Kosakowski and Regina Roslon Kosakowski; and his wife Gail Kosakowski (Mariano). He is survived by: his children, Donald Kosakowski Jr. and Stephanie Egensteiner (Matthew); and his grandchildren, Emma of Oxford and Owen Egensteiner of Oxford.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jenkins-King & Malerba Funeral Home (12 Franklin St, Ansonia, CT 06401). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Apostle Church (733 Oxford Rd, Oxford, CT 06478).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to The St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
