He is survived by: his wife Barbara Steiz Chechoski; his children, Chet Jr. Chechoski (Marianne) of Stratford, Tammy Rich (Matt) of Oxford, Jodi Keller of Oxford and Wendy Chmiel of Oxford; his grandchildren, Dale, Jared, Hannah, Tori, Lauren, Cali, Hunter, Chet, Lexi, Trevor and Macey; and his brother Robert Chechoski (MaryEllen) of Waterbury. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
