It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlie McKane (Oxford, Connecticut), born in Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away on March 23, 2019, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sons, Peter McKane and Paul McKane (Edith). He is survived by: his siblings, Jim, Anne (Buddie), Dave, Wilson and Ireland; his wife Edith; his children, David (Linda) of Oxford and Margaret (David Bates) of Framingham, MA; and his grandchildren, Kellie McKane-Manchisi (Anthony), Katie McKane, Sarah McKane, Angela McKirryher (Brian) and Michael Ames (Lorraine).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Great Hill UMC with a notation for the McKane Family Scholarship or to the Oxford Land Trust.
