It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Lewis Curtiss of Oxford, Connecticut, who passed away on February 3, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father William Reuben; his wife Isabelle Valentine Curtiss; his children, Charles William (Patricia) of Oxford, Catherine Isabelle Curtiss-Albrecht (Russell) of Oxnard and Dale Robert (Lisa) of Simsbury; his grandsons, Charles Thomas (Tonya), Joseph Ryan and Timothy Daniel; his great grandchildren, Charles Wallace (Chase), Blake Thomas and Bryce Austin; and also, Albert, Leslie and Oliver.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Lord Chamberlain and Stratford for their loving and compassionate care as he battled Alzheimer's these last 2.5 years. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donating to the Alzheimer's Association.
