He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvia Ellison (Bottachiari); his parents, Henry Ellison and Elizabeth Ellison (Foster); and his siblings, Harry Ellison, Mary Cooney and Jenny McClean.
He is survived by: his children, Virginia "Ginger" Deangelis (Christian) and Henry Ellison (Michele Thibeault); his grandchildren, Olivia, Jake Ellison, Gianna and Sophia Deangelis; and his pet Molly. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the pandemic health crisis a private burial with his immediate family with full military honors is being held at Southford Cemetery.
