With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Wilma McDougall of Orange, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Wilma left this world on January 26, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Irving and Phoebe West Irving; her husband James R. McDougall Sr.; her sister-in-law Kate McDougall; her sisters, Phoebe Patenaude (Art), Carrie Black (Frank), Pauline Fenton Rosza (John) and Judy Knapp (Ray); and her grandson Dustin Hall.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Purcell (Bob) of California, James Jr. of Seymour, Kathleen Perkins (Bill) of North Carolina and Sharon Woznicki (Dan) of Orange; her niece Carol Piccirillo (Joseph) of South Carolina; and her grandchildren, David Purcell (Brittney) of California, Brian McDougall, Kelly Maher, Jeffrey Marsh, Jonathan Marsh, Jared Marsh (Carley), Christopher McDougall (Tara), Alexander Woznicki and Jacob Woznicki (Beatrice).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Adzima Funeral Home (50 Paradise Green Pl, Stratford, CT 06614). A prayer will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (1056 Daniels Farm Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611).
