He was predeceased by: his spouse Madeline Moritis; his sibling Frederick "Buddy" Saverese; and his parent Frederick Saverese. He is survived by: his siblings, John Saverese Sr. (Linda) of Branford, Patricia Saverese, Dolores Saverese and Henry "Jake" Saverese; his nieces and nephews, John Saverese Jr and Lisa Saverese (Adam Burkitt); and his parent Eva Valanzuolo Saverese.
