She was predeceased by: her brother Salvatore Grignano; her parents, Salvatore Grignano and Louise Iovieno Grignano; and her husband Dr. George V. Montano. She is survived by: her children, Laurie Montano (Paula Piccirillo) of Guilford and Robert Montano (Dawn) of Eastham; her grandchildren, Joseph (Nicole), Jeffrey (Kristen), Julie, Robert (Leah), Jonathan (Jenna), Matthew (Alyssa) and Michael (Leah); her great grandchildren, Emma, Joseph, Logan and Lucas; and her caregivers, Alina, Ania, Viola, Agnes, Iwona and Alexandra.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 8:15 AM to 10:15 AM at the Porto Funeral Home (830 Jones Hill Rd, West Haven, CT 06516). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony Church (70 Washington Ave, New Haven, CT 06519).
