It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Gibbons of Orange, Connecticut, who passed away on January 1, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Gibbons and Ethel Gibbons; his parents-in-law, George and Evelyn Flynn of Milford; his siblings, John Gibbons of Milford and Joyce Pagano; his siblings-in-law, Faun Flynn Katson, Bradd Flynn and Jim Flynn of Milford; his nieces and nephews, Joanne Flynn Chockey, Jim Flynn, Shane Gibbons, Jessica Gibbons and Heather Pagano; his daughters, Kellie (Martino) and Tracie (McDermott); and his sons-in-law, Ed Martino and Brian McDermott. He was also cherished by five grandchildren.

Ron loved a round of golf, playing tennis, was the President of the New Haven Ski Club, a runner, a member of New Haven Bicycle Club, a Literary Volunteer of America, donated a lot of his time running events for the Special Olympics, and he was a huge history buff.
