With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roger A. Smith of Orange, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 28, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alden Smith and Mabel Petersen Smith; his sister Judith Hongo; his nephew Gregory Vernon; and his niece Rhonda Hooper.
He is survived by: his wife Karolyn Whitney Smith; his children, Jeffrey Smith (Stephanie) and Patricia Smith; his grandchildren, Blair Smith Husted and Matthew Smith (Hannah); his great grandchildren, Estelle Husted and Magnolia Husted; his niece Casey Sugarman; and also Linda.
