We are sad to announce that on March 6, 2022, at the age of 98, Robert James McKay of Orange, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, David McKay and Millicent McKay (Geary); his brother David McKay (Mary Sheehan McKay); his son Dennis Robert McKay; and his son-in-law Donald Breen.

He is survived by: his wife Bettyejane Esposito McKay; his children, Douglas (Roxane) and Donna McKay O'Connor (John Bird); his stepdaughter Cindy Breen; his grandsons, Sheehan O'Connor (Tara), Kyle Murphy, Adam and Alexander McKay; his stepgrandchildren, Sheri, Cathy, Samantha Breen and Brian; his great grandchild Kennedy O'Connor; his nieces, Maureen, Colleen, Teashe and Kathleen; and his nephew Thomas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans Connecticut Fallen Hero's foundation @ http://www.ctfallenheroes.org.
