He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Moore and Helen Moore (Kelly); his former wife Carol Thomas Moore; his son Anthony Mendes; and his brother Richard Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Moore; his children, Michael Spence, Libby Buckholz (Kurt) and Geoffrey Spence (Erin); his grandchildren, Max, Ryan Spence, Jake, Luke Buckholz and John Spence; and his nieces and nephews, Roberta Thomas Mancuso (Greg), Randy Thomas (Kim) and Jody Thomas. He is also survived by several great nieces and a great nephew.
