Mary Brown Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Brown of Orange, Connecticut, born in Fairfield, Connecticut, who passed away on April 2, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Brown; her parents, George Schumann and Catherine Schumann (Leahy); her daughter Sharon Sciascia; and her siblings, Frances Schumann and George Schumann.

She is survived by: her daughters, Catherine McKenzie (Joe), Suzanne Hewig (Fred), Donna Vreeland (Robert), Brenda Hotchkiss (Cliff) and Carolyne Maniscalco (Ted); her son-in-law Vito Sciascia; her grandchildren, Melissa Roberts, Donald Sciascia, James Sciascia, Matthew McKenzie, Michael Sciascia, Jennifer Vreeland, Mary Sa, Stephanie Hotchkiss, Brittany DePonte and Nicholas Maniscalco; her stepgranddaughters, Kristen Miceli and Michelle Hewig; and her brother William Schumann. She is also survived by her 12 great-grandchildren.
