She was predeceased by: her spouse John J. Pierce; and her parent Otto Herman. She is survived by: her parent Freida Rohrs Kregel; her children, John K. Pierce (Rebecca) and Melissa Pierce; and her grandchildren, Emma Pierce and Meghan Pierce. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
