He was predeceased by: his spouse Beverly Tiernan Lewis; his parents, John Lewis and Ethel MacElwee Lewis; his daughter Patricia Lewis; and his daughter-in-law Lynda Lewis.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Lewis of Milford, John Lewis of Ansonia, Mary Grening (Steven) of Torrington, Brian Lewis (Joan) of Old Saybrook and Diane Lewis of Orange; his grandchildren, Dylan Lewis, Erik, Garrett Grening, Christopher Thomas (Jesse) and Tracy Carrero (Eddie); his close friend Sheila Swaikowski; and his grandchildren, Emma and Pita. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
